The next presidential contest looks set to roll past a crowded field of formidable candidates from both the ruling APC, the main opposition PDP and other political parties.

However, only one aspirant from any of the parties will eventually fly the party banner in the presidential race and if elected, the person will assume the plum post of President Muhammadu Buhari next year.

A presidential candidate on the PDP platform, Mr. Peter Obi, has released his biographical data, presenting an abundant profile that places him among the candidates for the PDP presidency.

Obi, born July 19, 1961, Onitsha, Anambra, had his early education at the famous Christ the King College, Onitsha, from where he was admitted to the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, one of the first generation universities from Nigeria.
